- This is just a letter to sing the praises of Sara Mossman, who came to my house as an Eco Consultant last month. She first looked around and got a feeling for the place, where I was, where I wanted to go, my sense of style, budget, etc. Then she went through a very extensive Green Irene packet to suggest areas where I could improve and how to do it to make sure she didn’t miss anything. She brought her own personal knowledge to the table, joined by Green Irene resources and followed up with extensive emails on products and research she had done afterward. I still consult her with questions and she was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like I could email her casually whenever I want and she would give me a thorough and timely response with several options of ways to go in terms of price, aesthetics, and environmental benefits. I’m looking forward to purchasing a Green Irene spinning composter and exploring the idea of Carbon Offsets as suggested by Sara.Most of us want to do the right thing but don’t know where to start or what the best course of action is. People like Sara make it so easy! Even if you just start with small things. I was close to not doing anything at all until Sara showed me that I didn’t have to do everything at once, I could take small steps. I can’t recommend her enough!

- Kudos to your Eco Consultant, Jeff Horowitz. His review of energy use in my home was thorough and extremely professional. He listened to my questions, gave comprehensive and comprehensible answers, and made excellent suggestions to reduce my energy bills. Jeff concentrated on energy efficient lighting, discussed CFLs for a lighting alternative, educated me about phantom power use, and showed me ways to substitute green consumer products to replace harmful chemicals. He also discussed water conservation. Jeff’s evaluation was both economically helpful and educationally instructive. Thank you, Mr. Horowitz!

- When I agreed to a Green Home Makeover with your Eco-Consultant, Nicholette Aylor (Nederland, TX), I had no idea that it would be as informative as it was. I learned some things that are in my home that I thought were safe are really very toxic. I was shown ways to save money and how to go green in several areas. At the conclusion of the makeover, Nicholette had helped me with several easy and immediate changes to save money and conserve water, gas, and electricity. She also left me with a long list of suggestions to work on after she left. I’m really excited by the products that make this process so easy. But many of the ideas you can put to use immediately and without buying anything! This visit has definitely made me want to move forward living greener in my daily life. The water faucet aerators are amazing. Can’t wait to get my order in and see my bills after implementing my eco-consultant’s ideas. - We were thrilled to have a Green Home Makeover. Even though we are very conscious we know that we can always learn more and do more to reduce our carbon imprint; including creating a healthier environment for our family. My husband and I were excited when our consultant, Terri Rafiq came to our home. She was impressed with all the things we had implemented already, but as I had hoped there was still more to learn and some work for us to do. Terri walked room by room with us and explained things that we could do or incorporate and gave us a kudos for this things we were doing already. The Green Irene service and Green Home Makeovers are an excellent value, educational and will help the health of your family and environment in the long run.
