We can arrange workshops into seasons like GO GREEN for Spring and cover topics most relevant for that season, such as composting food waste, non toxic cleaners and outdoor chemicals. You will tailor the information to the particular needs of your community, which often leads to a discussion of green initiatives at the local school or a new recycling regulation just implemented. You help tailor the content based on your client’s interests and the time available.

Where Can I host a GO GREEN Workshop?
As a local Green Irene Eco-Consultant you will share your green passion and wealth of information about living a more sustainable life, without being “preachy green” in a client’s home, office, community center, or other suitable location. You will give a 20-30 minute presentation to the guests on green topics you think the participants are especially interested in. A lively question and answer period may ensue, especially if the conversation turns to LOCAL green initiatives and topics. Green Irene-recommended products may be “tactfully” available to examine, ask questions about, and order. Unlike other direct sales “parties” you may have attended, there is no pressure to buy, though most people who attend do find something that save them money and help green their life. You can hold a GO GREEN Workshop outside of a home setting, for example, in an office conference room, at a community center, at a local college or other public setting. We can tailor the Workshop to the particular needs and interests of the Host and the audience, the time available and even the season and region.

Does it cost anything for a Eco-Consultant to hold a Workshop?
There is no cost to host the GO GREEN Workshop in a home, nor is there a cost for participants to attend. Green Irene does offer dozens of the best green home products for sale thru each consultant’s website and our Eco-Consultant will introduce some of those in each topic area. You may charge a Workshop fee when held, for example, at a corporate office or when travel is involved. Presentations in non-profit or community settings are usually exempt from this fee.

Why Should I Host a GO GREEN Workshop?
A GO GREEN Workshop is the perfect way for you to share your interest in ‘going green’ with others in your community. As a local Green Irene Eco-Consultant you may offer to lead a Workshop wherever you wish. If someone opens up their home to to friends who are interested in learning more about a green lifestyle and provides the guest list, home and the snacks, you can offer them a free “Mini” Green Home Makeover before the event as a way of saying thank you for being the Host.
