Green Irene was founded and is run by two seasoned entrepreneurs who happen to be a team outside as well as inside the office: PJ Stafford and Rosamaria Caballero Stafford.

PJ grew up in New York City and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University in 1985.

Since 2002, PJ worked with Rosamaria at Caballero Television, as CFO and EVP of Distribution. The TV station group grew to 12 owned and operated TV stations in Texas and California, and the resulting national network, MasMusica TeVe Network, grew to dozens of affiliated stations in the Top 50 Hispanic market. Parts of the business were sold to Viacom (NYSE: VIA) in 2006 and PJ worked for MTV Tr3s (Viacom’s newly launched broadcast network for Young Latinos) for a year after the transaction closed.

PJ was the co-founder and CEO of two Internet startups since 1994, both of which became part of publicly traded companies. The Internet Factory, a web design, development and online marketing firm, was purchased by Bowne & Co (NYSE: BNE) in 1997. Prior to his involvement in the Internet, PJ was the Plant Superintendent for an auto parts manufacturer in Detroit, Michigan, called MascoTech. After college, PJ worked as a auditor in the Emerging Companies practice of Arthur Andersen & Co and was Chief Financial Officer of an innovative chain of corporate sponsored day care centers located inside office buildings in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Play and Learn Corporate Child Care.

Rosamaria was President of Caballero Television (which she co-founded in the mid 1990s) and its MasMusica TeVe Network. A proud Latina of Cuban heritage, she helped develop and distribute programming that was more relevant to young Hispanics than was available through the traditional Spanish language TV networks.

Previously, she co-founded (with PJ) and was VP of Sales for their interactive marketing firm. Prior to that, she worked as Assistant Corporate Counsel for Masco Corporation, a Fortune 500 company in Detroit, specializing in securities and corporate transactional work. She was an associate at the Boston law firm of Goodwin Procter before joining the legal staff of Masco.

Rosamaria grew up in New York City and received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1989 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from Wellesley College in 1986.
